How do I get the app?

Autodatafy for iPhone and iPad is in open beta. Install Apple's TestFlight app, then open the beta link below on your iPhone to install Autodatafy. It is free.

How does automatic drive tracking work?

Turn on drive tracking in the Drives tab. Autodatafy notices when you start driving, records the route and distance, and stops when you park. Your odometer and mileage based service reminders update from real drives.

iPhone asks for Always and Precise location because drives start while the app is closed. Location is used only for drives, mileage and finding nearby shops. You can turn drive tracking off at any time in Drives, Drive settings.

A drive went to the wrong car.

Open the drive and tap Reassign. To stop it happening, open Drives, Drive settings, Cars & Bluetooth, and link each car to its Bluetooth or CarPlay connection.

How do I log a service?

Open Service and tap +. Type what was done (for example "oil change and tire rotation"), take a photo of the receipt, or fill in the form. The matching reminder resets on its own.

Do I need an OBD-II adapter?

No. The phone is enough for drives and mileage. A Bluetooth OBD-II adapter is optional and adds live engine data and trouble codes.

Can I trust the AI answers?

Autodatafy's AI explains symptoms using your vehicle and its history, and shows how confident it is. It can be wrong. Always follow your owner's manual and ask a qualified mechanic before repair or safety decisions.

What happens to my data?

We use your data to run the app. We do not sell it or use it for advertising. Read the full Privacy Policy for details.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Garage, Account Settings, Delete Account, and type DELETE to confirm. Your account and its vehicles, records and drives are deleted.

If you can no longer sign in, email [email protected] from the address on your account and we will delete it for you.
